JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – South African power utility Eskom will implement planned blackouts on both Tuesday and Wednesday after breakdowns at a number of power stations overnight, it said on Tuesday.
The power cuts, known locally as loadshedding, will last from 1400 GMT to 2000 GMT on Tuesday, and start again between 0700 GMT and 2000 GMT on Wednesday, the company said in a statement posted on Twitter.
